Panthers Win Season Debut

The boys basketball team opened their season on Friday night with a hard fought 71-67 victory over Bridgewater-Raynham. Sophomore Blake Hickey grabbed 17 rebounds while also scoring 7 points. Senior Miles Hoffman tossed in 23 points while senior Captain Jason Stephansky chipped in with 14. Freshman point guard Brian Feeney added 12 points and committed just 1 turnover. The team is back in action tomorrow night at home against North Quincy. This is Rachels Challenge night, an opportunity to start our chain reaction in the community. The Rachel’s challenge club will have the banner down on the court at halftime and will invite more people to join the cause. Students are encouraged to reach out to a classmate you have never hung out with outside of the school day and invite them to the game. If you go to the game with someone you have never done an outside activity with, you both get in for half price. There will also be a table with paper strips which you can fill out to honor an act of kindness someone has done for you. So show some school spirit and get involved in starting the chain reaction that is Rachels Challenge.
